Saalfelden is a paradise for all winter sports enthusiasts. But also for winter holidays off the slopes: The wide, sunny Saalfelden basin in the middle of beautiful mountain scenery is ideal for idyllic winter hikes, fun snowshoe hikes, romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating on the Ritzensee, visiting the Ritzen castle or shopping in the city.
The cable car takes you directly to the Skicircus with 60 cable cars and more than 200 km of groomed slopes. The Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang ski area is one of the largest interconnected ski areas in the Alps. You can get there from us very easily by ski bus. The ski bus stop is right in front of our apartment.
The journey out from our district of Euring to Leogang-Asitzbahnen is possible at the following times:
9:22 am, 10:22 am, 11:22 am, 1:22 pm.

The once three kilometer long, illuminated and snow-covered natural sledge run from Berggasthof Biberg to Huggenberg was extended to an incredible six kilometers for the first time this winter! But not only the rapid sledge run down into the valley becomes an unbelievable adventure, the "uphill" can also be an exciting and fun experience! Why? Because skidoos, slow trains and tractors are used to make the ascent easier for tired hikers. From just € 4 per person you can comfortably get from the Hinterburgstuben to the Huggenberg. From there it is a 50-minute walk through the snow-covered landscape to the Biberg mountain inn.
